Callie Llewellyn (she/her/hers) has a B.S. in Educational Theatre from New York University where she also minored in Child and Adolescent Mental studies. She is currently working on her masters in Theatre Pedagogy at SE. Callie has been teaching and directing with middle school students for 8 years now. During the school year, you can find her teaching theater at MVMMS. During the summers, Callie works at Weston Drama Workshop as the director for the Afternoon Middle School Intensive program. Ms. Llewellyn enjoys exploring her various theatrical passions through her various projects. Recent projects include the SpongeBob the Musical (Director), Beware the Jabberwock (Director), Finding Nemo Jr. (Director- a Disney Pilot production), Pippin (Director), and Legally Blonde Jr. (Choreographer). She has also directed three METG gold medal winning productions: Squirrel Girl Goes to College: a Squirrel Girl Play (Marvel Spotlight) in 2024, Stuart Little in 2023 and the Fabulous Fable Factory in 2022. Outside of work and theatre, Callie loves painting, scrapbooking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Special Skills and Interests Include:

  • Creating Standards Based Curriculum

  • Creating curriculum centered around social-emotional learning, developing life skills, and developing literacy.

  • Integrating language objectives and differentiation for: E.L.L., IEP, and 504 plans.

  • Developing live, synchronous, and asynchronous drama curriculum
